Fabral will reinforce its role as the leading provider of metal building envelope solutions. “In 2012, we have implemented many strategic changes to better and more effectively reach our customers,” said John Armstrong, senior director of marketing. “AIA will be the culmination of these efforts and the ideal venue to showcase to architects walking the show floor why Fabral is the right partner for all metal building envelope solutions.”

Turning Heads on the Show Floor

Some of the strategic changes made this year include a comprehensive branding program that resulted in new corporate identity and upcoming collateral material. This branding exercise also greatly influenced the design of Fabral’s AIA booth.

“We knew that the design of the booth would set the tone for Fabral’s presence at the show and that it must convey Fabral’s leadership in the industry,” said Daisy Lilley, marketing manager. “From the outset of its development, we focused on the idea of ‘pushing the envelope’ both in terms of doing the unexpected and referring to our ability to innovate.”

Fabral’s 20” x 30” booth space, #1529, will be hard to miss on the show floor. Making ample use of the product as both display and as structural component, metal products will be organized by four distinct vertical markets: healthcare, government, education and industrial. Emphasizing Fabral’s capabilities of “pushing the envelope”, large panels will swirl overhead to help turn heads. Multimedia presentations will detail projects around the world showing the versatility and sophisticated design accomplished with Fabral products.

“The ability to serve our customers in the best and most efficient way is the primary impetus for everything we do,” said Armstrong. “AIA is the opportunity to speak directly to members of the architectural community, tap into their wants and needs and demonstrate to them how we can be instrumental in the success of their commercial projects.”

Fabral Announces Refined Color Palette for Architectural Systems Products

02/26/2012

Lancaster, PA – Fabral Metal Roof and Wall Systems announces strategic changes in the standard stocked color palette for its Architectural Systems Products, a product line serving the architectural, commercial and industrial markets. Fabral implemented this effort to ensure that customers have immediate access to the most popular and requested standard colors in the industry. The multiple phase color changeover will begin in March 2012 starting first with the products in highest demand to ensure there is no interruption in meeting customer needs.

As the premier supplier of metal roofing and wall panels for architectural, commercial agricultural, post frame and industrial applications, Fabral carefully reviewed and selected a group of standard stocked colors. The palette now features a group of core colors and metallics. Streamlining the most requested colors ensures that Fabral will have the right color, on the inventory floor and ready to go as soon as a customer needs it. Fabral also provides unlimited options and custom colors in its standard non‐stocked products.

“Our market research and attention to color theory helped cement our choice in the palette components. As a category leader for more than 45 years, we were able to draw on our industry experience to help predict ever‐evolving color trends,” said Jason Moreno, Fabral product category manager. “Additionally, our partnership with Valspar, one of the largest global coatings manufacturers in the world, provided us access to key insights to the best performing and most requested colors in the market.”

While some colors will stay the same, the majority are making a gradual shift in hue and tint creating a nominal visual difference. In some colors, formulation will change but result in no visual difference. As the market has continued to assign great attention and interest to metallics, Fabral has responded accordingly by adding two completely new colors that expand Fabral’s metallic range: Champagne, from the neutral/beige color family and Silversmith, which provides a mid‐range silver option, falling between the two current silvers, Pewter and Bright Silver.

Most of the standard stocked colors are LEED and/or Energy Star compliant. For those that are not, customers will find most are readily available as part of Fabral’s standard non‐stocked color offering.

Another change in the product range is additional options in the gauges, substrates and fasteners. All standard stocked colors will be available in 24ga steel and .32” aluminum and 48.25” coil widths. Color matching fasteners that coordinate with the palette will be available with the rolling change.
