Dear business partner,

The Post Frame steel market in 2013 has really been a tale of two halves. The first few months of this year were sluggish mostly due to lack of demand created by a prolonged winter, and also a sluggish economy. Since late Spring, the pent up demand created earlier in the year has now exploded and many suppliers, dealers and builders alike are extremely busy trying to catch up on projects before winter arrives.

Looking forward to the 4th Quarter and 2014, steel costs should remain stable until year-end; and as long as the weather remains mild, it will be a robust fourth quarter. This environment should continue into 2014 with particularly strong growth in light commercial and residential panels. Even with this expected surge of activity, we do not expect any fall lulls with our volume – which means your Fabral orders will be delivered when expected.  You can be confident working with Fabral.

In addition, the agricultural market is looking to be strong in early 2014.  Many post frame builders report very good backlogs with simply not enough crews to get all of this work done in 2013. Fabral is well positioned to service this higher level of work with nationwide coverage and well established resources in place to provide outstanding service. We look forward to working hard with you to get the job done right.

As always, send me your questions and comments.  I can be reached directly at Fabral.com/JonHaleyFeedback.
